RevSports Instructional Classes

Classes follow a simple, consistent structure built around how kids learn sports best. RevSports’ Learn. Practice. Play. approach guides every session—introducing skills, reinforcing learning, and applying them through challenges and game-based play.

RevSports curriculum was originally created in 2001 based on the US Soccer Federation (USSF) model for coaching kids and tailored for age-appropriate child-development best-practices. All sports curriculums are continuously refined through years of coach feedback, player experience, and real-world learning environments—evolving alongside the athletes and families we serve.

Classes are delivered in a family-focused environment with a one-day-a-week commitment that fits busy family schedules and allows multiple family members to participate. Parent involvement for young athletes creates a supportive, interactive experience that builds confidence, enjoyment, and a strong foundation for continued growth in sports.

Recommendations for a Great Class Experience

  • Allow time to settle in: The first class can feel overwhelming for young players. Confidence and comfort grow with consistency.
  • Build a routine: Regular attendance helps players build skills, confidence, and familiarity with class routines.
  • Choose the right fit: Consider experience level and confidence—not just age—when selecting a class.
  • Flexible placement: Coaches may recommend switching to a different group after the first class to best support each player’s experience.
  • Have fun: Confidence, enjoyment, and a love for sport matter just as much as skill development.
