RevSports Archery teaches and reinforces the fundamentals of grip, posture, aiming and releasing through engaging, structured sessions built around the RevSports Learn. Practice. Play. approach. Across classes and camps, players build focus, coordination, and confidence while learning the discipline of archery in a fun and supportive environment. Each session blends skill development with opportunities to apply what they’re learning through guided activities and. Programs are designed for all ability levels, whether it’s your players first experience or they’re continuing to build their skills.

What Players Learn

Grip

Archery Grip Icon

Players learn how to hold the bow with control and confidence while building comfort with safe archery fundamentals.

Posture

Archery Posture Icon

Players practice proper stance and body positioning to create a strong, balanced foundation before each shot.

Aiming

Archery Aiming Icon

Players develop focus and accuracy by learning how to line up their shot and stay steady while aiming.

Releasing

Archery Releasing Icon

Players learn controlled release mechanics that help build consistency, confidence, and safe shooting habits.

Sport Challenge

Each day ends with target practice, giving players the chance to apply the skills they’ve been practicing while shooting at real targets. Players will learn and use grip, posture, aim, and release to take down targets at the end of every program.

How RevSports Develops Players

Learn
RevSports coaches begin each day with an active, instruction-based warm up. In archery, it begins with a range session.
Practice
Players practice grip, posture, aiming and releasing skills through structured, fun activities that reinforce the fundamentals of play.
Play
Each day ends with target practice that challenges players to shoot safely and accurately towards a variety of targets.

Class Age Groups

TotStars (ages 2–3)

  • Players explore grip, posture, aiming, and releasing in a fun social setting.
  • Coaches use simple, structured activities to introduce basic archery skills.
  • Parents/adults stay actively involved to help players listen, follow directions, and feel comfortable participating.

PreStars (ages 3–5)

  • Players build confidence and independence while learning the basics of grip, posture, aiming, and releasing.
  • Coaches guide players through repetitive archery based activities.
  • Parents/adults are encouraged to support their player’s learning, especially during partner activities and skill practice.

KinderStars (ages 4–6)

  • Players continue developing archery fundamentals in a supportive, non-competitive environment.
  • Coaches introduce more independent skill practice while helping players understand how archery works.
  • Parents/adults are invited to participate in select activities and support their player when needed.

MiniStars (ages 5–8)

  • Players build sport-specific skills through active practice, challenges, and target-based activities.
  • Coaches help players improve confidence, coordination, and focus during archery activities.
  • Parents/adults are encouraged to support their player’s learning as needed and cheer them on during play.

MightyStars (ages 6–9)

  • Players continue building archery skills through more focused practice and target-based challenges.
  • Coaches emphasize confidence, focus, sport understanding, and applying skills in archery activities.
  • Parents/adults are encouraged to support and cheer on their player.

SkillStars (ages 8–12)

  • Players advance archery skills through technical instruction focused on grip, posture, aiming, and releasing.
  • Coaches help players refine consistency, focus, control, and confidence at their experience level.
  • Parents/adults are encouraged to support and cheer on their player.

Class Parent Involvement

Parent involvement is encouraged, especially for younger athletes. Staying engaged helps children feel comfortable, stay focused, and build confidence. The level of involvement may vary by coach, age group, and group size, but younger participants typically benefit most from having a parent nearby, whether that’s cheering them on from a distance or standing right by their side.

What Players Need

Equipment: RevSports provides all the necessary equipment for archery.

Attire: Athletic footwear is highly recommended.

Water: Water bottles for players and parents are encouraged.
